Founded as a grassroots organization in 2012, the Dorchester Food Co-Op will be opening its doors this year! DFC is a community- and worker-owned grocery store that promotes racial and economic justice by making healthy food affordable and accessible to Dorchester and its surrounding neighborhoods.

The current Board aims to maintain a member composition that represents the community served by our store with the skills to support the Co-op’s success. The Board membership has no residency requirements, but residents of Dorchester, Mattapan, and Roxbury are particularly encouraged to apply for a 3-year term.
