Thoughts About Amazon and Local Food

We read the news of Amazon’s acquisition of Whole Foods with surprise, then wished them well and returned to the work of helping build something special and unique to our community. We applaud any news that means more good food options for our neighbors; we know Dorchester wants good, fresh, local food. But no matter what is happening with big companies, food is family and community and we are proud and honored to be working towards providing a community space for Dorchester residents to get fresh and local food and connect with their neighbors.
